Research areas:
• development of the methodology of complex lidar and radiometric sounding of the atmosphere and the Earth’s surface by terrestrial and satellite systems;
• studies of snow, glaciers and open water surface of the Antarctic, aimed at solving problems of climatology and control of large-scale pollution transfer;
• monitoring of transboundary pollution transport in the region of Belarus;
• development of optical remote sensing equipment for atmospheric aerosol, gas impurities, underlying surface;
• development of vision systems in a cloudy atmosphere;
• development of methods, algorithms and software to restore the characteristics of atmospheric impurities according to satellite sensing data;
• development of methods, algorithms and software for modeling the transfer of atmospheric impurities
