The Public Association “Belarusian Physical Society” is an independent scientific public association of scientists, specialists and students working in the field of physics and related fields of science, created to promote the development of physical science and the dissemination of physical knowledge, create favorable conditions for the discovery of the creative possibilities of physicists, protect scientific, professional and social interests of its members, as well as the development of creative and business contacts with scientists, professional and public organizations of other countries.
The composition of the Belarusian Physical Society has more than 200 members in more than 30 scientific organizations and universities of the country.
With the participation of the NGO «BFS» a number of conferences are held both in Belarus and abroad. The association is a member of the European Physical Society (EPS) and the Eurasian Physical Society (EPS).
